UGANDA WILDLIFE AUTHORITY GIVES RELIEF TO THE BUDUDA LANDSLIDE SURVIVORS |
The massive landslide that destroyed three villages on the slopes of Mt. Elgon on 1st March 2010 left thousands of vulnerable people from neighbouring villages that had to be immediately evacuated. At least 16 people survived the landslide and are hospitalized at Bududa Hospital.

UWA staff pay study visit to the oil fields |
Uganda Wildlife Authority staff based in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kibale National Park last week participated in a 3-day study tour to the oil fields operated by Tullow Oil and Heritage Oil on the shores of Lake Albert as part of efforts to give them exposure on various oil issues before activities begin in their areas of operations. |
