Ms Barbara Ameso is the new Marketing and Research Officer for Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). Barbara a professional marketer formerly worked with the office of the Prime minister as an assistant researcher. She joins the Tourism development and Business Services with a pledge to drive tourism to another level.

In the legal unit, Ms Charlotte Kukundakwe and Mr. Ali Luzinda are the new legal counsels who will be defending the rights of UWA, her employees and her estates.

In the Conservation department, Dr. Robert Aruho has joined the busy Monitoring and Research Unit. We welcome the new staff to one of the leading conservation agencies in Africa.

LakeMburo-trailUganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) in partnership with African Wildlife Foundations in the process of developing tourism trails in Lake Mburo National Park.

The new trails include Lakeside trail, Interpretation trail, Rubanga trail and Kigarama trail. The surveying of for all the trails has been accomplished and they are expected to be open by end of this year.
The new products are expected to increase on the tourism products and attract visitors to stay longer in the protected area.
