Uganda will be participating in the World Travel Market (WTM) to held in London, UK, from 4-7 Nov, 2013.

Uganda Wildlife Authority will be represented by the Director of Tourism development and Business Services Mr. Raymond Engena and the Marketing Manager Ms Ingrid Nyonza Nyakabwa among others.WTM is a leading global event for the travel industry


The WTM is an annual event in London, a leading global meeting for the travel industry - a vibrant must attend four-day business-to-business event presenting a diverse range of destinations and industry sectors to UK and International travel professionals.

It is a unique opportunity for the whole global travel trade to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business. Since 1996 Uganda has had an opportunity to participate in this event.

Addressing the media at the National Media Centre, Uganda Tourism Board's Edwin Muzahura said, "the Uganda delegation comprising of both public and tourism private sector players will be Hon. Agnes Akiror Egunyu, Minister of State for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities."

By attending World Travel Market, participants efficiently, effectively and productively gain immediate competitive advantage for their business and stay abreast with the latest developments in the travel industry.

Brussels Airlines has formed a partnership with the Uganda Tourism Board and is the official carrier for the Uganda delegation to the WTM 2013. The partnership will see airline offer attractive discounted fares to delegates travelling to UK for the WTM from Uganda.
